Y'all. Lamendola's Supermarket is the best kept secret for catering in and around Ascension parish. This is my second time ordering my Thanksgiving spread from them and I 100% have ZERO regrets. It would've costed me a small fortune to purchase all the ingredients and make everything myself. For less than that, I was able to get a fried turkey, cornbread dressing, rice dressing, macaroni and cheese, broccoli and cheese rice, sweet potato casserole, green beans, gravy, dinner rolls and a pecan pie. I ordered some peach cobbler too just for a little extra razzle dazzle. The food was delicious and the leftovers are even tastier! Huge caveat--THEY DELIVERED it to my doorstep on Thanksgiving day! The lady who delivered actually brought everything in my house and set it on my counter for me. Top notch service! If you're wanting to try things before you go out and purchase the full spread like I do, their lunch deli runs their holiday menu during the week. Stop in and grab you a plate to try it out! You won't go wrong!
The best deli and meats in the local area. Freshest fish and friendly butcher services. I was reminded of my own hometown butchers and grocers, this is a store that goes out of it's way to see you find what you need and maintain a nice collection of wines, meats and locally sourced seafood. Very clean store with well stocked shelves, fresh fruits and vegetables. The deli has a following with hot foods and catering if needed.
It gives you that old school grocery store feel here. You can get old school candy in the checkout line. I also like the fresh and frozen seafood options when it's time to get on the grill
The best butchers in Southern Louisiana! Brisket is heavenly Great service Deli inn everything you want plus a Cajun flair. Homemade meat smoking. Will smoke what you want. Great baker as as well.
This is a small town grocery store that has a take out food deli. The food looked good, especially the smoked turkey wings. They have an abundance of seasoning varieties which they purchased from business locals. I was happy to see the many salt free options herbal seasonings available. There's a butchery in the back but the meat section is very limited in size, not meats. They have pickled meats, smoked meats, ground beef as well as other meats. I bought this organic sparking drink made by Sipp. They have a variety of flavors but I got the ginger blossom with vanilla and lime. Tastes pretty darn good with very low sugars and only 40 calories. I've never been here but I'm glad I stopped in. I think I'll be coming back when I'm in the area again. I'm in the car of the grocery store typing this review, trying to resist the temptation of that donut shop across the street staring at me in my rear view mirror. Lol SMH!!
The best deli in gonzales. Baked chicken daily hits the diet spot. I like the Thursday jambalaya. The breakfast is good also. The wait isn't to bad. I call in my order most of the time. I tried their gumbo. To kill for. Their trays of goodies are the best. Our office loves ordering at Lamendola's.
I like to get the Steak Special on Thursday I just wish it was cooked a little more. Try it you wont be dissapointed. Lamendolas is a Supermarket that offers Hot Lunch Daily. They have a Facebook page where you can check and see what they will serve that day.
